Job Summary:
Job Duties:
- Lead design, development, and validation of haptic actuators.
- Brainstorm and troubleshoot haptic-related challenges.
- Prototype and evaluate innovative haptic solutions.
- Design mechanical components and create detailed specifications.
- Analyze device performance through static and dynamic structure analysis.
- Collaborate on new manufacturing processes with external vendors.
- Validate designs through iterations and conduct failure analysis.
Required Skills:
- 3D CAD, 2D drafting, GD&T
- Problem-solving, root cause analysis, DOE
- Electrical circuits, material science, chemistry
- Communication
- Data analysis tools (JMP, MATLAB, Excel)
Required Experiences:
- BS degree
- Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
- Project experience in consumer electronics
- Haptic technologies design/research experience
- Experience with electromagnetic/piezoelectric actuators
- High volume mass production (DFM) experience
