Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes:
- Operate and manage Veritas NetBackup applications across multiple environments.
- Ensure compliance with DoD Cybersecurity standards and perform configuration tasks.
- Monitor backup jobs and conduct disaster recovery scenarios.
- Maintain backup policies and manage database backups in SQL and Oracle environments.
- Document processes and follow ITIL best practices.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Veritas NetBackup and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in Windows PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Strong CLI skills and understanding of TCP/IP communications.
- Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.
Required Experiences:
- 8-12 years of system administration experience.
- 5+ years with Veritas NetBackup and MS-Windows/Solaris/Linux environments.
- 2+ years with VMware and IP-based network communication.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
