Job Duties
- Maintain technical ownership and collaborate with Snowflake's technical leadership.
- Set the technical direction and guide the engineering vision.
- Architect critical systems focused on query processing and distributed data processing.
- Design and support highly-parallel, fault-tolerant database systems.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of database internals and data processing systems.
- Proficiency in SQL, multi-threading, and systems programming (C++, C, Java).
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Required Experiences
- 10+ years in software engineering with distributed systems or databases.
- Track record of delivering complex projects in relevant fields.
- BS in Computer Science; advanced degrees preferred.
