Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes
- Perform risk identification, assessment, and performance tuning.
- Manage SQL server instances, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions; assist with SQL integration across teams.
- Troubleshoot SQL Server outages and optimize system performance.
- Document the database environment and provide recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Postgres.
- Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS database services.
- Knowledge of database backup and restore strategies.
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS technologies.
Required Experiences
- Extensive experience in SQL Server administration and maintenance (including Always On).
- Proven experience managing large databases and high availability operations.
- Background in data management and security design.
- Technical coaching and mentorship experience.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
