Job Summary:
Job Duties:
- Plan and procure materials/services per contractual specifications
- Manage pre and post-award procurement activities
- Ensure best value with quality/delivery compliance
- Prepare and issue RFQs incorporating technical requirements
- Generate/commit orders up to $150,000; manage approvals for higher amounts
- Identify and select suppliers, including small businesses
- Monitor supplier performance and initiate management reviews
- Close out completed orders; maintain a safe work environment
Required Skills:
- MS Office Suite (Excel)
- Discretion and independent judgment
- Effective oral and written communication
- Interpersonal coordination and negotiation
- Research and presentation skills
Required Experiences:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Defense environment applications (preferred)
