Job Summary:
Job Duties:
- Create new food formulations and samples through R&D.
- Identify new ingredients for food product innovation.
- Document product specifications and processes.
- Conduct internal and external audits for product quality.
- Manage product documentation and records for food safety.
- Collaborate with R&D team on specifications prior to product launch.
Required Skills:
- Food Science, Microbiology, Meat Science, or Chemistry knowledge
- FDA & US Government regulations expertise
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Excel
Required Experiences:
- BS degree in a related field
- 2+ years in R&D or Food Technology
- 2+ years of R&D experience with meat products
- Familiarity with Genesis Nutritional Software
- Ability to travel regionally
