Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scope
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data requirements.
- Design and implement data models and data architectures.
- Develop and optimize data ingestion processes and pipelines.
- Establish monitoring systems for data pipeline issues.
- Create documentation to educate teams on data best practices.
Required Skills
- Expertise in data engineering programming/scripting (Python, Scala, SQL).
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data integration.
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Experience
- Master’s Degree in a related field plus 5 years of data engineering experience.
- Experience in the Life Science Industry.
- Proven experience with data pipelines, ETL tools, and CI/CD automation.
- Familiarity with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).
- Experience with data governance and compliance policies (preferred).
