Job Summary:
Job Duties:
- Plan, install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Server instances and databases.
- Monitor database performance and implement optimizations.
- Manage Oracle databases with a focus on installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Implement high availability solutions and develop disaster recovery strategies.
- Set up proactive monitoring and respond to alerts to minimize disruptions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases.
- Proficiency in database high availability solutions (e.g., Oracle Data Guard).
- Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Required Experience:
- Several years of experience as a Level 3 Oracle Database Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of server architecture and performance tuning.
- Experience with database clustering and load balancing technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
