Job Summary:
1. Job Duties and Scopes:
- Administer SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Design and implement database structures, OLTP designs, and data models.
- Monitor, optimize performance, and manage database security and backups.
- Plan and execute data migrations and maintain high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
2. Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with database management tools (e.g., SSMS, Solarwinds).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Required Experiences:
- Minimum 7 years as a Senior Database Administrator, particularly in SQL Server.
- 5 years with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and related technologies.
- 3 years with Always On Availability groups and Windows Failover clustering.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Database Administrator, MongoDB Certified DBA) are a plus.
