Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scope
- Design and develop scalable data platforms for processing medical research data.
- Establish and maintain infrastructure for data collection, storage, and analytics.
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Optimize performance of data and algorithmic platforms for real-time insights.
- Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to integrate requirements into platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and document architecture and processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, Scala).
- Expertise in big data technologies (Lakehouse architectures, Trino, Data Bricks Delta).
- Competence in machine learning and deep learning frameworks (MLFlow, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in imaging data engineering and data platform development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure and deployments.
