Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes
- Develop and package melange within the Wolfi Linux distribution.
- Create Chainguard container images for public and private use.
- Implement automated tests for image deployment and validation.
- Manage a prioritized queue of images ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
- Conduct quality checks prior to image release.
Required Skills
- Experience packaging software as Linux packages (e.g., APK, RPM).
- Proficiency in building and debugging container images.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and helm charts.
- Familiarity with Terraform for cloud infrastructure as code.
- Programming experience in at least one language.
Required Experiences
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with Linux.
- Open-source community involvement is a plus.
- Experience with vulnerability management and remediation is beneficial.
