Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes:
- Lead design and development of electromechanical systems for mobile robots.
- Perform analysis for optimization, including FEA and tolerance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, controls, manufacturing).
- Identify design challenges and implement solutions.
- Communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and iteration of designs.
- Create dimensional drawings and manage BOMs and ECOs.
Required Skills:
- Mechanical design principles and electromechanical systems expertise.
- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred) and FEA tools experience.
- Component selection and integration (motors, sensors, actuators).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Required Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in industrial robotics, automation, or material handling (preferred).
- Familiarity with PLM systems and design for manufacturing (DFMA) (preferred).
