Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes:
- Maintain technical ownership and collaborate with other technical leaders.
- Set the technical direction and guide engineering vision.
- Architect critical systems and manage strategic challenges.
- Design and support highly-parallel, fault-tolerant database systems.
- Own production rollout of features and mentor engineering talent.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Represent the area to customers and influence industry forums.
Required Skills:
- Strong fundamentals in databases (SQL, performance, schema design).
- Proficient in systems programming (multi-threading, concurrency, C++, C, or Java).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
Required Experiences:
- 10+ years in software engineering focusing on distributed stateful systems or databases.
- Experience building core components for data processing systems.
- Track record of delivering complex projects in distributed systems or databases.
- BS in Computer Science; advanced degrees preferred.
