Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes
- Provide Cyber Security support for USPTO IT applications.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents as part of the Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT).
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Investigations team and other support groups.
- Maintain documentation and project management using Microsoft Project Professional and SharePoint.
- Execute tasks assigned by OCIO management, including reporting to US-CERT.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project Professional and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in cyber security.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection systems and security concepts.
Required Experiences
- Experience with incident response in a cyber security role.
- Background in security risk assessment and vulnerability analysis.
- Expertise in security device maintenance and administration.
- Prior experience in IT support roles related to network operations and maintenance.
