Job Summary:
1. Job Duties and Scope
- Lead the Compliance Department, ensuring adherence to affordable housing program regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and training materials for property management teams.
- Monitor changes in regulatory guidelines and update company policies accordingly.
- Oversee the transition of properties into Tax Credit programs and maintain relationships with governing bodies.
- Report on compliance status to leadership and track document submissions to regulators.
2. Required Skills
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- High attention to detail and multitasking capacity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills for various stakeholders.
3. Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in affordable housing compliance.
- Expertise in Project-Based Section 8 and Tax Credit programs.
- Familiarity with Rent Caf/Right Source and Yardi systems.
- Relevant certifications (CPO/SHCM or equivalent).
