Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes
- Lead and manage multiple roadway design teams and projects.
- Coordinate design discipline teams in developing construction contract plans and documents.
- Prepare project scopes, manhour and fee estimates; ensure quality control/assurance.
- Mentor and train junior staff; participate in project planning and scheduling.
Required Skills
- Proficient in roadway design, quality control, and contract document preparation.
- Skilled in design software (MicroStation, In-Roads, GEOPAK).
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
Required Experiences
- BS in Civil Engineering with 20+ years in roadway engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina.
- Experience with NCDOT projects and contract document development.
- Mentoring and managing staff experience.
