Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes
- Administer, test, and implement computer databases under limited supervision.
- Apply knowledge of database management systems and coordinate database changes.
- Identify and resolve database performance, capacity, and scalability issues.
- Plan and implement security measures for computer databases.
- Assist other database administrators and report to the Leidos OM&S Program Manager.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of database management systems.
- Ability to apply DBA methodologies to Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S).
Required Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Current Secret level clearance.
- Substitution of additional years of experience for education may be considered.
