Job Summary:
1. Job Duties and Scopes:
- Maintain technical ownership and collaborate with technical leadership.
- Set technical direction and guide engineering vision.
- Architect systems in key areas like query processing and transaction management.
- Design and support highly-parallel and fault-tolerant database systems.
- Lead production rollouts and grow engineering talent.
2. Required Skills:
- Proficient in database fundamentals, including SQL and schema design.
- Strong systems fundamentals (multi-threading, IO subsystems).
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Systems programming skills in C++, C, or Java.
3. Required Experiences:
- 10+ years in software engineering, particularly in distributed stateful systems or databases.
- Experience with database internals and core data processing components.
- Advanced degree (BS, Masters, or PhD) in Computer Science preferred.
