Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes:
- Solve business needs at scale using software engineering skills.
- Build next-generation systems for safe, performant, and secure Java usage.
- Provide a consistent platform for Snowflake engineers to deliver quality solutions.
- Address performance and availability issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure operational readiness to meet availability/performance commitments.
Required Skills:
- Systems programming, including multi-threading and concurrency.
- Fluency in Java with understanding of JVM internals.
- Deep knowledge of low-level operating system concepts.
- Strong CS fundamentals, especially in data structures and algorithms.
Required Experiences:
- 7+ years in designing and supporting large-scale systems.
- Experience with distributed fault-tolerant systems.
- Proven track record in building platforms and testing tools in production environments.
- BS in Computer Science; Masters or PhD preferred.
