Job Summary:

1. Job Duties and Scope:
- Develop database architecture and provide documentation and standards.
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases.
- Oversee vendor performance, project schedules, and budgets.
- Manage backup/recovery, high availability, and security compliance.
- Provide on-site support and monitor service provider infrastructure services.

2. Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with RDBMS and non-relational databases.
- Strong database administration and design capabilities.
- Knowledge of encryption, auditing, and control for database security.
- Familiarity with server hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Scripting experience in ksh, borne shell, and SQL.

3. Required Experience:
- 10-12 years in a related functional role.
- Experience managing vendors and service delivery metrics.
- Demonstrated expertise in high availability setups and capacity management.
- Proficient with databases like Oracle, MS SQL, and MongoDB.
