Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scope
- Design and develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Administer and optimize Azure SQL Server databases.
- Implement post-conversion validation and reporting processes.
- Monitor ETL performance and provide optimization recommendations.
- Manage ETL development tasks using Azure Boards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL scripting and complex query development.
- Strong database administration skills, particularly in Azure SQL Server.
- Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with Azure tools including Data Factory and Boards.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills in high-volume data environments.
Required Experience
- 5+ years as an ETL Engineer/DBA with SSIS expertise.
- Experience in performance tuning, backups, and database security.
- Familiarity with ETL error handling and SSIS performance monitoring.
- Experience with project management tools like Azure Boards.
