Job Summary:
Job Duties and Scopes:
- Enhance and optimize localization and path planning systems for off-road vehicles.
- Improve traversability estimation perception layers using multi-modal sensor fusion.
- Collaborate on datasets for autonomous navigation research.
- Conduct field tests and experimental characterization of system performance.
- Simulate edge case scenarios with the VISE simulation engine.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in object-oriented programming in C++ in a Linux environment.
- Familiar with ROS and publish/subscribe communication frameworks.
- Knowledgeable in software principles, architecture, and design.
- Strong mathematical reasoning, especially in statistics and probability.
Required Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years or Master’s with 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience with robotics, sensor data processing, and developing robotics algorithms is preferred.
